glaurung software package provides free UCI chess engine, to calculate chess moves, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glaurung
glaurung is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glaurung package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glaurung *
You will get with glaurung package name, version, architecture and description in a table
